We are a group of Orthodox Christians who live in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs region.

In 2014, we came together to form a new worshipping community in Toowoomba, and in 2017 we were blessed to be known as ‘St John the Baptist Orthodox Mission.’

To this day, we continue to be the only active Orthodox church on the Darling Downs.

Around 20 people are generally in attendance when we celebrate the Divine Liturgy, creating a very friendly atmosphere. All services are celebrated in the English language.

All people of good will are welcome to our services. If you are an Orthodox Christian, or if you want to find out more about how original Christianity is practiced today, we welcome you to join us.

Fr Erich regularly celebrates
Vespers on Saturdays at 5pm, and
the Divine Liturgy on Sundays at 9am,
at 19 Eton St, Cambooya QLD.
